Omaha is located on the eastern edge of Nebraska
next to the Missouri river. It is the largest city
in the state with over 430,000 people. Omaha is a
Native American word that means "Dwellers on the
Bluff". Omaha features an abundance of dining and
shopping spots to suit every taste. Its rich
cultural offerings include the Joslyn Art Museum,
Durham Western Heritage Museum, Holland Performing
Arts Center, and the Omaha Community Playhouse. One
of our main attractions, The Henry Doorly Zoo,
features an indoor rain forest and desert, and is
often ranked as one of the best zoos in the country.
For over 55 years Omaha has been the host of the
annual College World Series. Omaha is home to
Warren Buffett, the richest man in the world. The
city is also the headquarters for Berkshire
